Maths:

In Maths, we have been focusing on fractions and decimals and how to add, subtract, multiply and divide them. We have been looking at BODMAS (Brackets, Operation, Division, Addition and Subtraction) to assist us in our calculations. 

English:

In English, we have started a new class book called War Horse, this ties in with our topic of WW1. We have based our work on the book, impersonating the different characters of the book to deepen our understanding of the story. Recently, we have been looking at persuasive texts and we are writing a persuasive letter now. 

Art:

In Art, we have been depicting the WW1 paintings of Christopher Nevinson. We have tried to imitate his style of painting, we have drawn four different scenes of WW1.
