School start and finish times

We have made a few changes to start and finish times for Autumn 2022

From September 2022 Chennestone will be operating a 'soft start' from 8:30am. This will give the children time for reading and other activities before the school day begins.

Reception:  8:45am to 3:15pm

Year 1 to Year 6: 8:45am to 3:15pm

• Please be aware, the school gates will close at 8.45am and open at 3pm at the end of the school day.
• At the end of the day, all parents will be permitted onto the playground and children will be collected from the classroom or their allocated spaces.
• On PE days the children will continue to come to school in their PE kit

A typical day at our school is 6 hours and 30 minutes, which equates to 32.5 hours in a typical week.
