Ofsted and Performance Data

Dear Parents and Carers,

Ofsted Report - 2023

We are delighted to inform you that the full Section 5 Ofsted Report from our two-day inspection on 28th February and the 1st March is now available on the school website and will be released on the Ofsted site within the next 8 days.

We are delighted to confirm that the school has been graded 'Good' in all areas.

We are enormously proud of our staff, who have worked exceedingly hard to achieve this outcome.

This report is also a celebration of the pupils that we are privileged to teach.  As Ofsted highlight, "Pupils are proud to belong to this friendly, nurturing primary school.  They are happy in this vibrant community and feel safe.  Pupils show high levels of respect for people who are different to themselves."

This was Chennestone's first full inspection since 2013 when we were previously graded as "Good".  The report itself is very detailed and highlights the many elements of good provision at Chennestone Primary School, as well identifying next steps to take the school forward.

I do hope that parents and carers take the time to read the inspection report in full, as it represents a school that is not only good, but one that aims to improve further with the children at the heart of its work.

Kindest regards

Mrs Hayley Mulhall

Headteacher

The Government will not publish KS1 and KS2 level data for the 2021 to 2022 academic year.  They have archived data from the 2018 to 2019 academic year because they recognise that the data from that year may no longer reflect current performance.

No primary test or exam data has been published for 2020 or 2021 as SATS did not take place.

Below are the published attainment results from 2019 and unpublished results from 2022.
