Week 4 

Dear parents

This week in Maths we have been converting KM into M recognising that there are 1000 M in 1 KM. We then started focusing on perimeter. Children have been using their previous knowledge to work out the missing sides of rectilinear shapes. 

Children have thoroughly been enjoying this terms English unit. We have been covering setting descriptions of our model text from 'The Last Fire Fox' our latest piece of writing has been a description of Cadno's home Fargone. Children have created some wonderful pieces of writing using 'POSAM' and relative clauses. 

In Science we have been creating classification keys and understanding the difference between a living and non living thing using MRS GREN to help them remember the 7 life processes. 

We would also like to say a massive well done to Panda Class for their fantastic Class Assembly. They should be extremely proud of themselves!
